    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives and drive new business opportunities across our commercial real estate portfolio. This role is responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with potential clients, investors, and strategic partners, while collaborating with internal teams to support leasing, acquisitions, and property management goals.  The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multi-task.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Strategic Growth & Planning

    • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.  
    • Identify emerging market trends and opportunities for expansion. 
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to set annual growth targets and KPIs. 

    Client & Partner Engagement 

    • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, tenants, investors, and service providers.  
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. 
    • Develop customized engagement plans for high-value prospects and partners.  
    • Facilitate introductions between internal teams and external stakeholders to support deal flow. 

    Deal Sourcing & Pipeline Management 

    • Source and evaluate new leasing, acquisition, and development opportunities. 
    • Manage and track business development pipelines and reporting metrics. 
    • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to inform sourcing efforts. 

    Cross-Functional Collaboration 

    • Work closely with leasing and investment teams to align business development efforts. 
    • Provide market intelligence and feedback to inform strategic decisions. 
    • Support onboarding and training of team members involved in business development.  
    • Act as a liaison between business development and other departments to ensure seamless execution. 

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record of sourcing and closing deals.  
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  
    • Self-starter with a strategic mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered approach 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, & SharePoint with ability to learn new software.
