Responsibilities
- Own hardware from concept through production and on‑orbit operation for Starlink satellites
- Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and drive system-level optimization
- Rapidly iterate designs and analyses to inform systems trades and product direction
- Drive DFM and production-ready designs with focus on piece-part and process reductions
- Establish efficient product life cycles from supply chain to final integration
- Perform environmental and performance testing to validate analysis and compliance
- Manage product delivery timelines through conception, assembly, and launch
- Partner cross-functionally with electrical, materials, manufacturing, test, and integration teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required)
- Master’s degree in engineering or related field (preferred)
