Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of launch pad infrastructure
- Own hiring, onboarding, training, technical and professional development, and performance reviews for direct reports
- Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and technical reports for civil, structural, and industrial projects
- Perform civil and structural design and analysis for structural steel and concrete systems
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts and subcontractor relationships through close-out
- Provide onsite engineering inspections, field observations, and real-time resolution of design/construction conflicts
- Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, owners, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery
- Translate and validate drawings between industry-standard CAD tools (Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD) and SpaceX CAD (Siemens NX)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering (required)
