As Director of FP&A, you’ll own company-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, strategic analysis, and performance tracking. You’ll work directly with executive leadership to guide decision-making and ensure we scale with clarity and discipline.

As Director of FP&A, you will be a key thought partner to the CFO and senior leadership. Specific responsibilities include:
Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
Partner with department leaders to track performance, optimize spend, and align resource allocation with strategic goals
Develop and maintain dashboards and models to monitor KPIs, cash flow, and unit economics
Drive board and investor reporting with clear, data-driven narratives
Own monthly variance analysis and reporting packages
Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, tools, and workflows
Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A function as the company scales
The expected base salary range for this role is $216,000– $241,000. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, level, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity grants as part of the total compensation package.
Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
Ability to influence cross-functional leaders with a strong analytical point of view
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguity-tolerant, early-stage environment
Leading FP&A for a high-growth SaaS or technology company (Series B–D+ preferred)
Building and maintaining complex financial models
Working directly with C-suite leaders and investors
Analyzing ARR, burn, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40, and SaaS cohort dynamics
Implementing and using FP&A tools (e.g., Mosaic, Pigment, Cube, NetSuite Planning)
8+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or similar roles
SaaS startup experience highly preferred
Familiarity with government contracting or dual-use tech models is a plus
MBA or CPA/CFA preferred but not required
Have a strong interest in matters of national security
