Role and Responsibilities

• Perform semiconductor engineering research, design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry.
• Responsible for the micro-architecture development of GPU.
• Tasked with interacting with the system architects, verification, performance/power and design implementation teams.
• Responsible for driving the RTL design, performance and power optimization, logic debug and timing closure of the critical blocks in the design.
• Drive the timely development of GPU’s memory sub-system blocks (caches and memory interface).
• Engage with the architects and help define next-generation Samsung GPU.
• May work from home on a hybrid schedule from a commutable distance to the worksite.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related field plus three (3) years of experience in a related occupation demonstrating skills in each of the following: Hardware design and implementation; Hardware description languages (Verilog/System Verilog); RTL design of various digital sub-blocks; Micro-architecture development; and SoC/ASIC design methodologies.

Total Rewards

At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,027.69 - $186,000.00. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. This is an exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
