Application Integration Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years building system integrations, internal tools, or automation
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Python preferred; Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go acceptable)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API Gateway patterns
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and API Gateway
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and container build/deploy workflows
- Clear communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reliable integrations connecting internal systems and third-party services
- Partner with Security, HR, Legal, and other teams to gather requirements and identify automation opportunities
- Implement secure API integrations, data handling practices, and monitoring for integrated systems
- Develop and deploy solutions across cloud platforms (primarily AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
- Apply AI tools and automation to improve internal workflows and team productivity
- Document systems and share knowledge; mentor and guide peers on integration best practices
- Evaluate and integrate third-party SaaS and iPaaS platforms at scale
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
