Responsibilities
- Design, build, and validate manufacturing and field testers for a new electromechanical product
- Develop test hardware for functional and system power tests and deploy on production lines
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and software teams to define test coverage and required features
- Implement test automation, self-test flows, and data analysis pipelines for manufacturing
- Debug, root cause, and resolve issues discovered during manufacturing test
- Lead tester builds, validation efforts (e.g., GRR, SAT), and scale-up activities
- Mentor engineers and technicians and establish best practices for the test function
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
- 6+ years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing test engineering or similar roles
