Promethean is seeking a Distribution Account Manager to lead and expand strategic business initiatives with our North American distribution partners and shape how our products reach the market. 


Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic alignment and execution with top-tier distribution partners.
  • Deliver measurable results through effective management of channel partners and increasing Promethean’s market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, resellers and applicable strategic alliance partners.
  • Work with the distributor partner to identify and target new indirect partners that are aligned with Promethean’s growth strategy to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure partner success and executive on goals.
  • Manage distribution inventory levels to ensure the right product mix is in their warehouse(s) based on pipeline.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to address and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise between channel partners.
  • Streamline processes, reduce friction, and improve partner performance metrics.
  • Manage contracts and agreements with channel partners, initiate negotiations when required, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, and providing information to leaders and legal for final review and approval
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive activities and partner needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for channel partners to enhance their product knowledge of the entire suite of Promethean products and solutions.


Requirements:
  • 10+ years of distribution channel management experience in the technology industry.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale distribution relationships in the hardware and software space.
  • Strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners and internal teams.
  • Deep understanding of 2-tier distribution models and channel dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to help develop and execute channel strategies that achieve business goals.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce, partner portals, and performance dashboards.
  • Understanding of the AV/UC/IT technology space and Promethean’s products and solutions offering.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 50-75% travel
  • Remote work, preferably located in South Carolina.


Base Range: $107,300  - $147,500  + Commission Eligible

For business reasons, Promethean does not employ individuals who work remotely in San Francisco, San Jose or Oakland.
