Derivatives Trade Support Analyst
Skills
- Knowledge of fixed income and derivatives products
- Experience with trade confirmations, settlement and reconciliations
- Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas) and general MS Office skills
- Superior problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfort working with traders, PMs, counterparties and technology teams
Responsibilities
- Confirm daily trade activity and manage exceptions across bonds, repos, swaps, credit, FX, futures, options and OTC derivatives
- Reconcile positions and verify balances with prime brokers/FCMs and trading counterparties
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, external counterparties and prime brokers/FCMs to resolve trade-related issues
- Monitor and help reduce FX exposure via execution of FX transactions
- Respond to ad hoc queries from internal and external clients
- Support onboarding of new investment teams including account setup, platform training and third-party connectivity
- Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and control
Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics or mathematics
- Relevant coursework or certifications in finance, investments or operations helpful
