The Role
As a Senior Product Manager working on the core Sports App, you will be responsible for defining roadmaps and execution plans across key projects, partnering with engineers and designers to deliver measurable results. You’ll scope and prioritize initiatives that make following games, teams, and leagues in the Yahoo Sports App delightful. You’ll ensure the product provides high quality coverage across sports and leagues through the entire sports calendar.
You’ll collaborate closely with other teams across the Sports organization, as well as partners in engineering, design, marketing, programming, and analytics. This role reports to the Sr Director of Product, Core Sports.
This role will focus on changing the way fans follow and engage with their games, teams, leagues, and players they care about. You’ll help elevate the core app experience by coordinating enhancements across multiple teams, integrating monetization strategies, and helping fans discover relevant and personalized content across news and notifications, video, scores, and more.

You Must Have
5+ years experience as a Product Manager delivering consumer-focused experiences across native apps & web.
Experience developing and managing product roadmaps, with proven success in execution and delivery.
Strong ability to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders around shared priorities.
Comfort working with data, experimentation frameworks, and applying insights to product decisions.
Interest and aptitude in applying AI to consumer product experiences.
Strong sports knowledge across multiple sports.
Nice to Have(s)
Experience working with large datasets of complex, real-time information.
Familiarity with media or video streaming on apps and/or web.
Background in customer-facing content-forward experiences in native apps.
Experience integrating AI-driven features such as personalization, natural language experiences, or automated content generation.
Exposure to monetization strategies and integrating them into app experiences.

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,750.00 - $251,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
