Product Owner (Data Products) (Remote - US)

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join the corporate data products portfolio and play a pivotal role in defining and delivering innovative data solutions. In this role, you will bridge customer needs, business strategy, and technical execution by setting priorities, refining user stories, and guiding cross-functional teams toward impactful outcomes. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure enhancements align with the overall product vision. This position requires a strong background in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and data-focused products, as well as a deep understanding of airline and agency processes. It’s a highly visible role where your leadership will directly influence product direction and customer success.

Accountabilities:

• Act as the voice of the customer, communicating the product vision and roadmap to the development team and stakeholders.
• Lead backlog management, sprint planning, and prioritization of user stories, epics, and themes to maximize product value.
• Translate feature requests into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, development, QA, DevOps, and customer experience teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Plan and coordinate product releases, setting clear expectations for functionality and timelines.
• Ensure the backlog remains updated and actionable, proactively addressing impediments to delivery.
• Develop a deep understanding of product use cases, customer needs, and market dynamics to guide product evolution.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Technical Product Manager.
• Strong understanding of product roadmaps, backlog management, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven expertise writing user stories, tasks, and epics with measurable acceptance criteria.
• Deep knowledge of airline and agency customers, processes, and data, with the ability to apply this knowledge to product decisions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Snowflake.
• Experience managing development lifecycles using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Strong collaboration skills with QA teams to perform acceptance testing of new features.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
