Staff Product Manager, Commerce Platform
Skills
- 9+ years product management experience focused on fintech and/or ecommerce
- Deep knowledge of global payments: card flows, vaulting, tokenization, ledgers, routing
- Experience with enterprise/B2B and DTC ecommerce at global scale
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineering and write API specs
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and platform teams
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management
- Prior experience working with external payment partners and integrations
- Prioritization and decision-framework development for distributed teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the Commerce Platform product team, setting vision and priorities
- Define and communicate platform strategy and business value to stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering to shape the roadmap and service-oriented architecture
- Partner with commerce teams (DTC, B2B) and operational teams (finance, CX, payment ops) to understand needs and deliver shared services
- Own integrations and relationships with external technology partners (payment providers), enforcing partner accountability
- Drive migrations, design, build, and operationalization of platform services
- Create decision frameworks and prioritization methods for distributed teams
- Measure and report on platform impact and performance
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Professional experience in product management and payments/ecommerce domains
