We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Marketing Manager to help build and scale the Field Marketing function at OpenObserve, establishing new programs and driving high-quality pipeline through strategic events and regional marketing initiatives, as well as helping build future programs. As the ideal candidate, you will have a proven track record in B2B SaaS field marketing, with specific experience in products that target technical users and developers.
5+ years of experience in Field Marketing roles
3+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS environments
Strong understanding of technical/developer-centric products
Experience with event management and execution (trade shows, conferences, executive programs)
Proficiency with CRM & Marketing tools
Data-driven approach with proven ability to analyze campaign performance and ROI
Excellent project management and communication skills
Bachelor's degree
Experience with observability products/solutions
Experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, DevOps, SREs)
Knowledge of developer workflows and pain points
Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, etc.)
Background in high-growth technology companies or startups
Plan, execute, and optimize a comprehensive events portfolio including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and proprietary events
Develop and implement regional marketing strategies that align with sales objectives
Partner with sales teams to identify target accounts and high-value events
Create campaign-specific content, messaging, and multi-touch campaigns across digital and offline channels
Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination
Execute local marketing tactics which may include direct mail, hospitality events, and partner co-marketing initiatives
Configure and optimize marketing automation workflows for field marketing campaigns
Measure, monitor, and report on field marketing activities and KPIs
Build strong relationships with sales team to ensure marketing and sales alignment
Maintain accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and revenue attribution in CRM systems
