Vice President of Sales

Odeko builds technology to support neighborhood cafes, coffee shops, and other foodservice operators, helping them save time, reduce waste, and grow revenue. We are hiring a Vice President of Sales to scale revenue across distribution and platform solutions by shaping GTM strategy, building a high-performing sales organization, and driving strategic enterprise deals.

Skills

  • Proven sales leadership in foodservice with experience across independent operators and multi-unit/chain accounts.
  • Track record selling both distribution and tech-enabled (SaaS/platform) solutions.
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) execution skills.
  • Ability to craft GTM strategies that drive sustained revenue growth.
  • Executive presence and experience managing customer-facing strategic conversations.
  • Hands-on, fast-paced, entrepreneurial leadership style with strong coaching ability.

Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize GTM segmentation and value propositions for SMB and enterprise foodservice customers.
  • Build, lead, coach, and scale regional and enterprise sales teams to hit bookings, expansion, and margin targets.
  • Engage personally in late-stage and strategic enterprise opportunities to close high-impact deals.
  • Implement and enforce a disciplined sales process, including pipeline management, forecasting, and win/loss analysis.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Finance to align messaging, campaigns, and commercial strategies.
  • Create playbooks for expansion into adjacent customer segments and scaleable sales motions.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and manage team results using a data-driven approach.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, feedback, and rapid skill development across the sales organization.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus but not required; Odeko values demonstrated experience and outcomes.
