We are looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect to help us pursue opportunities in commercial integration of GPU acceleration for 6G release tools, Aerial framework, Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin (AODT), and Aerial L1 and L2+ SDK. This role requires becoming a trusted technical advisor and leader to our Ecosystem collaborators and clients. Our clients believe deep learning, data science, and artificial intelligence are a new computing revolution with the potential to transform the entire telecommunications domain.
A Solutions Architect is the bridge of technical expertise between NVIDIA and our partners/customers. The duties will vary from driving internal validation and benchmarking of our NVIDIA Aerial framework and AODT with reference applications, pipelines and toolkits to inventing proof-of-concept demonstrations to drive customer adoption. Dynamically engage with internal developers, scientific researchers, data scientists, IT and senior leaders is an important part of the Solutions Architect role, and will provide exposure to a range of partners and concerns.
What you will be doing:
Develop, improve, and support software for 5G networks Base Band Unit using the Aerial framework.
Develop, and support network digital twins using the AODT tool set.
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews and provide feedback to Aerial SDK partners/customers.
Engage with customer field trials and technical teams.
Be hands on at lab with test equipment’s, remote radio units and UEs.
Educate customers on new NVIDIA technologies and platforms, and their potential applications in signal processing, radio access networks, etc.
Document what you know and teach others. This can vary from building targeted training for partners and other Solutions Architects to writing white papers, blogs, and articles.
Be an industry leader with vision on integrating NVIDIA technology into AI, HPC, and embedded GPU architectures for advanced applications.
What we need to see:
Experience developing PHY/MAC layer or base band unit (BBU) software in C/C++.
Background with LTE/5G MAC and PHY from both systems and low-level 3GPP spec point of view.
Familiar with network digital twin technology.
Ability to switch between high-level systems view and low-level detail view of complex wireless systems.
Comfortable using wireless lab equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, power meters, etc.
Exposure to CUDA/GPU programming.
MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience required.
8+ years of related industry experience in software development, systems engineering.
Understanding of telecommunications radio device design and implementation in a regulated industry.
Expertise in the telecommunications domain.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background with radio access network systems or device design, telecommunications regulatory compliance, and environmental critical design processes.
Experience working with modern application deployment practices including but not limited to Docker/Containers and Kubernetes.
Experience with modern Deep Learning software architecture and frameworks.
CUDA programming and optimization experience.
Experience with NVIDIA Aerial SDK
