As a Software Engineer I at United Field Services, you’ll be focused on building, improving, and maintaining the software that powers our nationwide property preservation platform. Your day-to-day work centers on writing clean, reliable code, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the stability and growth of our internal and external systems.
You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and product teams while developing features, fixing bugs, and supporting integrations across our platform. This role is hands-on and execution-driven, ideal for an engineer who wants to sharpen skills across the full stack while contributing to high-impact, real-world solutions.
This position reports to senior engineering leadership and plays an important role in strengthening the company’s digital infrastructure as we expand automation, MS, and AI-driven workflows.
Implement and maintain frontend features using React and Next.js, and develop backend functionality using Python.
Assist with WordPress-based integrations and updates for CMS-driven features.
Investigate, diagnose, and fix software defects across multiple modules, ensuring reliable system behavior.
Translate requirements into working code, following established patterns, standards, and architecture guidelines.
Support ongoing enhancements to systems such as Orders, Scheduling, Vendor Management, and Portals.
Build, test, and maintain RESTful API endpoints that power internal tools and external integrations.
Participate in deployments, CI/CD workflows, version control practices, and basic AWS-related tasks.
Work with QA, product teams, and senior engineers to ensure features are delivered accurately and efficiently.
