Enterprise Customer Success Manager - Texas

Newsela is an education technology company that transforms real-world content into instruction-ready resources for K-12 classrooms. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Customer Success Manager to own a portfolio of large district accounts across Texas, drive product adoption and renewals, and partner cross-functionally to expand Newsela usage and impact.

Skills

  • Enterprise customer success and account management experience in EdTech or related SaaS.
  • Proven track record meeting or exceeding OKRs tied to retention, adoption, and expansion.
  • Comfort with data-driven decision making and using CRM and customer success tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for district-level engagements.
  • Ability to create strategic success plans, run executive business reviews, and negotiate within guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of 20-25 enterprise K-12 district accounts and oversee the full customer lifecycle.
  • Monitor account health and OKRs, proactively identifying risk and opportunity to drive adoption and renewal.
  • Build and execute strategic success plans tailored to each district’s goals and needs.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Support to coordinate resources, influence renewals, and support expansion.
  • Run business reviews and present insights and recommendations to district stakeholders.
  • Leverage data and tech stack to surface insights, measure outcomes, and prioritize actions for accounts.
  • Represent Newsela in customer meetings and occasional onsite visits; travel as needed.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Background in education or K-12 systems considered a plus.
