Position Summary

The Senior Pharmacy Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and innovation within our retail pharmacy and outpatient infusion pharmacy services. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong negotiation skills and a proven record in business development within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

  • This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, overseeing the execution of business development initiatives, tracking performance metrics, and delivering various reports for use in operational review and strategic development.
  • Works closely with Ambulatory Pharmacy Services business line leaders.
  • Leads cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including physician groups, marketing, and operations to align business strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required
  • Doctor of Pharmacy preferred
  • Master’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in business development with a focus on the healthcare industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies to expand operations and revenue streams
  • Experience in identifying and evaluating new market opportunities and partnerships
  • Experience in the preparation and presentation of business proposals, financial forecasts, and strategic plans to senior leadership

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $156,125.00 - $204,006.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
