Product and Guest Experience Manager

Manages the development, life cycle and success of ski-related products such as season passes, tickets, snow school, rental/retail services, digital platforms and events. Plays a pivotal role is delivering exceptional guest experiences across all profit centers at Middlebury Snowbowl. 

This is a part time, benefits eligible, hourly position with a hiring range of $24.47-$30.59 per hour. The general hours for this position are around the seasonal Snowbowl operations from August to April.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Organizes implementation, training and maintenance of RFID & POS system for Snowbowl employees and guests in all “Profit Center” areas understanding software development and user experience. 
  • Manages advance reservations and walk-up guest experiences and their product lifecycle. Provides daily operational support. 
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction, efficiency, employee training and consistency with policies and procedures. Acts as the primary point of contact for guest feedback and inquiries. Ability to resolve issues professionally and quickly. 
  • Assists General Manager in cross functional collaboration with ticketing, passes, rentals, events, and snow school and their managers. Immerses oneself in the systems functionalities. 
  • Collaborates with teammates including but not limited to; Snow School Director, Retail/Rental Manager, Rikert Manager. Manages ticketing staff; hiring, scheduling and training. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required / college degree preferred. 
  • Strong technical skills. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills and thrives in a fast paced team oriented enviroment. 
  • Positive attitude required with excellent communication skills. 
  • Organized, creative and thorough. 
  • Strong problem solving and team management. 
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays during peak season. 
  • Passion for skiing, snowboarding or mountain activities preferred. 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Indoor/outdoor environment and must be comfortable working in winter conditions and standing for long periods of time. Computer work and customer facing. Occasional heavy lifting.
