Role Overview
Mercor is hiring seasoned Retail & E-Commerce professionals to collaborate with a top AI research lab.
You’ll help develop and evaluate advanced AI systems that simulate real-world retail and e-commerce workflows—like inventory forecasting, product content optimization, and campaign performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs such as forecasting reports, merchandising plans, and performance dashboards
- Calibrate AI decision-making in tasks like:
- SKU replenishment proposals
- Planogram resets
- ROI calculations
- Create domain-specific assets, including:
- Inventory-replenishment playbooks
- Product-content guidelines
- Performance-reporting templates
- Collaborate asynchronously with product and AI teams
Ideal Qualifications
- 📌 [Required] 3+ years of experience in Retail or E-Commerce roles such as:
- Retail Operations
- E-Commerce Merchandising
- Category Management
- Supply Chain Planning
- OR a graduate-level education in a relevant field
- Strong skills in:
- Demand forecasting
- Open-to-buy budgeting
- GMV/revenue KPI analysis
- Merchandising metrics
- Experience building assets like:
- Store scorecards
- Inventory models
- Product-content libraries
- Campaign ROI dashboards
- Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills
Project Timeline
- Start Date: July 17
- Duration: 6 weeks
- Commitment: ~20 hours/week
- Schedule: Fully remote & asynchronous
Compensation & Contract
- Rate: $35–$65/hour (USD), depending on experience
