Human Resources Assistants

Location: Remote (U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia)

Pay Rate: $15–$35/hour (hourly contractor, paid weekly via Stripe Connect)

Referral Bonus: $500

🧾 Role Overview


We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI.

Your expertise in HR documentation, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and recruitment coordination will ensure each prompt and response reflects how HR professionals support people operations and compliance. You’ll help shape how AI understands HR record keeping, employee communications, and hiring workflows used across corporate, nonprofit, and public-sector environments.


You are a good fit if you:


  • Have over 3+ years of professional experience in human resources support, or generalist administration (excluding payroll/timekeeping)
  • Have a bachelor's degree or an associate degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
  • Are currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK or the Australia
  • Have a strong background in areas such as:
  • Maintaining personnel records
  • Preparing onboarding materials
  • Processing employment verifications
  • Coordinating interview schedules
  • Updating employee files
  • Assisting with benefits enrollment
  • Supporting internal HR requests or compliance tasks
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong attention to details


📌 Role Highlights

  • Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours
  • Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule
  • Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension


🗓️ Role Start Date

  • This role will begin in mid to late-July with applications reviewed on a rolling basis


🧠 Interview Process

  • You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in HR coordination, onboarding, and employee records support
  • You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about an HR administrative scenario
  • You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate
  • Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations


💼 Compensation and Legal Details

  • You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor
  • We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect
