Executive Assistant

Overview

The Executive Assistant will provide vital support to three executives within the Blockchain and Digital Currencies organization. This role demands a high-energy, creative, and outgoing individual who excels in building trust and setting the tone for the team. In addition to general administrative duties such as telephone coverage, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, and maintaining department records (including budget and contract administration support), the ideal candidate should be eager to take on additional responsibilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand one's skills and experience through project work.


Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative tasks to support daily operations, including phone coverage, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, and taking and distributing meeting minutes.
- Prepare communications, reports, presentations, and other assigned documentation.
- Ensure all logistical support is coordinated for meetings and events.
- Administer team-specific programs, projects, or processes, and maintain spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
- Conduct research on special topics as assigned.
- Act as an administrative liaison within and outside the company.
- Manage expense reporting in accordance with the company's Travel and Entertainment policy.
- Plan and coordinate events, both on and off-site, involving internal and external participants. This includes coordinating with guest speakers, catering, venue booking, and other event-specific needs.
- Support the onboarding process for new team members.
- Create and edit presentations and other communications.
- Manage and communicate corporate applications and compliance programs, such as Access Management, Vivo, Concur, Oracle, and other internal applications.

Qualifications:

Education:
- High school education is required. College degree preferred.
- Experience in executive administrative roles within a corporate environment, interfacing with senior and executive-level management and customers.

Skills/Abilities:
- Creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think outside the box.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate across functions, and effectively interact with stakeholders.
- A strong sense of urgency and results-driven orientation.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and discern what is truly important.
- A solid understanding of MasterCard’s operational and organizational infrastructure is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Oracle is required.
- High accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask.
- The ability to thrive in a busy and varied environment and to work well under pressure.

Purchase, NY. Applicants should expect to be in the NYC office occasionally for large meetings. We are also open to applicants based in NYC.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

Purchase, New York: $69,000 - $107,000 USD

New York City, New York: $72,000 - $112,000 USD
