MagicSchool is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to lead user acquisition efforts and optimize high-quality lead conversion for their generative AI platform for educators. This role is pivotal in driving growth and revenue within a mission-driven team focused on transforming education through AI.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include owning the demand generation strategy, leading multi-channel campaigns, managing the demand gen team, and collaborating with sales and product teams to ensure high-quality lead conversion.
Skills: Candidates should have a proven track record in B2B SaaS marketing, expertise in account-based marketing (ABM), strong analytical skills, and experience managing substantial budgets.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, 5+ years in leading demand generation, and proficiency with modern marketing tech stacks.

Compensation: $165000 - $205000 / Annually

As Director, Demand Generation, you will own and scale MagicSchool’s acquisition engine-driving high-quality free user signups and marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) that convert into active users, Plus subscriptions, and enterprise opportunities. You will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization across demand generation campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), and regional/national events.
You are accountable for hitting ambitious acquisition targets while ensuring the quality of those leads supports strong downstream conversion by our Growth Product team (free → Plus) and Sales team (MQL → Opportunity). Volume without quality will not be considered success—you will be measured on acquisition and the conversion health of the leads you generate.
You will be the owner of MagicSchool’s top-of-funnel growth and a critical driver of our revenue strategy.
