Today, Luxor offers a full-stack suite of software, hardware, financial, and energy services that power over 3,000 bitcoin mining datacenter operators and ~500,000 mining machines worldwide. Our platform enables miners to monetize their compute, optimize hardware through custom firmware, source and resell machines, hedge revenue with derivatives, and manage their energy strategy all in one integrated ecosystem. Energy is the largest input for miners, as such we are building innovative tools for miners to use to gain a competitive advantage. We are looking to build out our Energy team.
This is a remote position, but based in Texas. Reports directly to the Head of Financial Services.
Luxor Technology Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate, Energy Business Development to support the growth of our retail power business and energy-related software and hardware solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of digital assets and energy markets, contributing to sales, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
The Associate will collaborate across teams to advance commercial objectives, support customer engagements, and help execute go-to-market plans for energy products.
2–5 years of experience in the energy Industry, direct ERCOT experience.
Exposure to digital assets or mining is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience with business development and/or origination.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree required (focus in energy, business, engineering, economics, or related fields preferred).
Support the Head of Financial Services in executing commercial strategies for ERCOT REP services and energy technology solutions.
Assist in identifying and developing business opportunities with large power consumers, generators, and infrastructure partners.
Conduct market research and analysis on ERCOT dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
Help prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts involving sales, product, legal, and operations teams.
Assist in managing relationships with key accounts and external partners.
Track regulatory developments and market trends to inform internal strategy.
Attend industry events and conferences to network with professionals in the energy, digital asset, and data center sectors, gather leads, and cultivate strategic relationships.
