We’re hiring a Workplace & Experience Manager to support and grow Laurel’s San Francisco hub. This role is central to making our workplace run smoothly, creating a welcoming and productive environment for employees and visitors. Initially, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day office administration and operations, with the opportunity to expand into broader responsibilities as Laurel continues to scale.

Office Operations: Manage daily operations of the San Francisco office, ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.
Administrative Support: Provide scheduling, expense, and logistics support for office leadership as needed.
Facilities & Vendors: Serve as the point of contact for building management, vendors, and office service providers.
Events & Programs: Coordinate onsite events, team gatherings, and office-wide programs that foster culture and collaboration.
Travel & Logistics: Support occasional travel coordination and employee logistics for visitors to the SF office.
Operations Expansion: Over time, take on cross-functional projects in operations and program management to support Laurel’s broader growth and efficiency.
Employee Experience: Ensure employees and guests feel supported—helping with everything from onboarding setup to day-to-day needs in the space.
3+ years of experience in office management, administrative support, or operations in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset—you anticipate needs and address issues before they become problems.
Comfort working independently and handling confidential information with discretion.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment where responsibilities evolve over time.
Experience in program/project management.
Prior exposure to operations in a startup environment.
Event planning or vendor management experience.
Comfort with productivity tools (e.g., - Suite, Slack, Asana, or similar).
Previous experience with building out and launching new office locations.
Location: This role is based in Laurel’s San Francisco office with a regular in-office presence required.
