Regional Director, Strategic Sales

LaunchDarkly is a leading feature management platform that helps engineering teams deliver software faster and more safely. We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Sales leader to oversee either the Eastern or Western US region, drive net-new and expansion revenue within large enterprise accounts, and scale LaunchDarkly’s footprint across engineering, DevOps, platform, and product organizations.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise SaaS sales leadership in complex, multi-threaded deals
  • Experience selling to technical buying centers (engineering, DevOps, platform, product)
  • Track record closing six- and seven-figure contracts
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar qualification frameworks
  • Strong executive presence and storytelling skills to translate technical value into business outcomes
  • Pipeline generation, account-based selling, and forecasting discipline in Salesforce
  • Comfort negotiating with procurement, legal, security, and architecture teams

Responsibilities

  • Own and exceed a multi-million-dollar annual quota focused on Fortune 1000 and high-growth enterprise accounts
  • Develop and execute regional strategies to expand LaunchDarkly’s footprint with engineering, DevOps, platform, and product leaders
  • Lead complex enterprise negotiations across legal, procurement, security, and architecture stakeholders
  • Generate pipeline via targeted outbound, account-based plays, partner motions, and executive engagement
  • Collaborate with SDRs, Marketing, Channel, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to drive deals and ensure adoption
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and forecasting accuracy in Salesforce
  • Provide customer insights to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and positioning
  • Represent LaunchDarkly at regional events, partner summits, and industry conferences

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required
