National VP, Consultant Relations

Lantern is a specialty care platform that connects employers and employees to high-quality surgical, cancer, and infusion care through a curated Network of Excellence and dedicated care teams. Lantern is seeking a seasoned National VP of Consultant Relations to build and execute a consultant/broker engagement strategy, educate and influence top consulting firms, drive referral and sales pipeline, and partner cross-functionally to grow revenue and expand market presence.

Skills

  • Proven consultative sales and business development experience with employer health benefits
  • Strong network and credibility with top consulting/brokerage firms
  • Ability to influence stakeholders using data-driven insights and real-world experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication tailored to diverse audiences
  • Clear understanding of self-funded plan mechanics and ecosystem participants

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national consultant and broker relationship strategy to drive referrals and new opportunities
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with top consulting and brokerage firms at national and regional levels
  • Collaborate with Sales and Solutions Consulting on consultant-led opportunities and deal strategy
  • Create consultant-targeted content with marketing and enablement to educate and influence firm decision-making
  • Educate the marketplace on evaluating surgery, cancer, and infusion solutions and Lantern's differentiators
  • Measure and report on top-of-funnel growth, ACV/net new logos, win rate, and consultant engagement
  • Partner cross-functionally with analytics, clinical, marketing, network, member services, and client success to ensure a one-team approach
  • Identify process and product opportunities from consultant feedback and recommend improvements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or related) preferred
