Sr. Solutions Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Solutions Engineer in Kentucky (USA).

In this role, you will provide technical leadership and solutions expertise to support enterprise customer engagements. You will collaborate with sales and business teams to design, present, and implement integrated identity, access governance, and security solutions, leveraging cloud platforms and AI technologies. This role emphasizes customer-facing presentations, technical discovery, and the delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase solution capabilities. You will mentor junior engineers, provide strategic input, and contribute to product and marketing initiatives. Travel and remote work will be part of the role, offering dynamic interaction with regional and global teams. Your contributions will directly impact business growth, customer success, and adoption of advanced technology solutions.


  • Accountabilities
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrating enterprise solutions, architecture, and workflow intelligence.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions, needs assessments, and provide consultation for prospective and existing customers.
  • Design, execute, and manage Proof of Concepts (POCs) and respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Collaborate with sales directors, bid teams, and product management to prioritize opportunities and drive them to closure.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to Solutions Engineers on strategy, technical presentations, and scope management.
  • Gather field feedback and competitive intelligence, providing insights to product, solutions strategy, and marketing teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of identity security, access governance, cloud platforms, and AI-driven technologies.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives including product marketing content, webinars, white papers, and solution briefs.
  • Travel domestically up to 60% to support customer engagements and strategic opportunities.

  • Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering with demonstrable success in Identity Governance & Administration, Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management, Application GRC, or Identity Security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and related frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent technical certifications (e.g., ISACA, (ISC)², AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Security).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, analyze complex problems, and deliver solutions in collaborative and independent settings.
  • Strong customer responsiveness, relationship management, and business/technical documentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
