Solutions Architect

This role involves designing, implementing, and integrating complex event technology solutions for digital, hybrid, and in-person experiences. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure multiple technologies and platforms operate seamlessly together, creating impactful and innovative event experiences. The Solutions Architect acts as a technical consultant, providing guidance on architecture, integrations, and best practices, while supporting agile project delivery. You will manage vendor relationships, oversee quality assurance, and help shape strategies that maximize technology effectiveness. The position requires travel to event locations and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where technical expertise directly influences client success.

• Accountabilities
• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to recommend, architect, and integrate event technology solutions.
• Provide technical oversight for digital, hybrid, and in-person events, ensuring seamless operation across multiple platforms.
• Guide event teams and clients in integrating third-party technologies and registration tools.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) on event systems.
• Manage technical relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Delegate technical tasks effectively to implementation teams and support project delivery.

• Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in a services organization delivering technology solutions.
• 5+ years’ experience across technology disciplines, including architecture, application development, technology delivery, service, and data management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize across multiple events.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with QA processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of event technology platforms, integrations (APIs, webhooks), frontend limitations (HTML/CSS/JS), data structures (XML, JSON), video streaming protocols, and basic cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Willingness to travel, including air travel and overnight stays, and work outside standard business hours when needed.
