IP Routing and Integration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IP Routing and Integration Engineer to join a technical team delivering advanced network integration services for large-scale customer deployments. In this role, you will perform router turn-ups, software upgrades, testing, and end-to-end integration of complex IP/MPLS networks. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs), develop acceptance test plans, and troubleshoot issues during deployment. The role requires hands-on expertise with modern data center architectures, service routers, and network services platforms. This position provides the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to large-scale network solutions that impact critical infrastructure.

• Accountabilities:
• Perform advanced network integration, including router turn-ups, greenfield and brownfield integrations, and maintenance window execution.
• Create, execute, and update Methods of Procedure (MOPs), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and acceptance test plans (ATPs).
• Conduct software upgrades, validation, and end-to-end testing of service routers and network nodes.
• Provide on-site monitoring, troubleshooting, and support during deployments and special events.
• Deliver IPv6 traffic migration services and ensure data integrity across network devices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, transferring knowledge and best practices.
• Analyze network solutions, review designs, and escalate quality issues to improve service delivery.
• Requirements:
• Strong understanding of IP/MPLS routing technology, mobile front/backhaul, end-to-end BNG deployment, and data center architectures (spine/leaf).
• Hands-on experience with 7250, 7705, 7750 SR1, IXR, and Virtualized Service Routers (VSR).
• Experience with Network Services Platform (NSP) and associated integration workflows.
• NRS II or SRA certification preferred; capable of supporting Level 1–4 network services.
• Proficiency with network testing, software upgrade procedures, and MOP/ATP development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and manage multiple tasks in high-pressure environments.
