Executive Director, Strategic Client Engagement (Remote from Georgia)

The Executive Director, Strategic Client Engagement will lead high-impact initiatives to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and expand market presence. This role focuses on building and maintaining senior-level partnerships, guiding strategic proposals, and aligning services with client objectives. The position requires a balance of commercial insight, scientific understanding, and leadership skills to deliver innovative solutions and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. The Executive Director will actively contribute to business development, proposal development, and thought leadership while representing the organization in industry forums. This remote role offers the opportunity to shape strategic client engagement across a dynamic and growing environment.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop and deepen senior-level client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with business development and leadership teams to align services with client goals and drive commercial success.
  • Lead and contribute to proposals, RFIs, RFPs, budgets, and presentations, ensuring innovative and methodologically sound solutions.
  • Represent the organization at scientific and industry meetings, building credibility and thought leadership.
  • Guide strategic input for project execution, ensuring operational and scientific excellence.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration internally and maintain strong external industry relationships.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship aligned with organizational mission, vision, and values.
Requirements:
  • 20+ years of experience in pharmaceutical services or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and grow senior-level client relationships.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, strategic account planning, and proposal development.
  • Strong leadership, written, and verbal communication skills, with executive-level presentation capability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, sales, and operations teams.
  • Deep industry knowledge and understanding of commercial growth strategies.
