Director of Account Management (Remote - US)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Account Management in the United States.

The Director of Account Management will lead and scale the account management function, driving post-sale revenue growth through upsell, cross-sell, and renewals. This role is responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, building processes and playbooks, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customers derive maximum value. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth environment, possesses deep expertise in SaaS and cloud solutions, and can leverage partner funding programs to accelerate expansion. With a focus on strategic accounts and measurable ARR growth, this position offers the opportunity to influence company success while leading a team of high-performing account managers.

Accountabilities

·         Develop and execute strategies for upsells, cross-sells, and renewals to achieve revenue targets and ARR growth.

·         Build, scale, and manage the Account Management team, including playbooks, processes, and reporting structures.

·         Oversee high-risk or strategic accounts, ensuring customer retention and expansion at VP and C-level.

·         Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to align adoption, expansion, and renewal opportunities.

·         Leverage cloud partner programs (AWS, GCP, etc.) to maximize co-sell and funding opportunities.

·         Maintain accurate pipeline, renewal forecasts, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.

·         Gather and communicate customer insights to influence product roadmap, marketing initiatives, and go-to-market strategies.

·         10+ years of experience in account management, expansion sales, or sales leadership, preferably in SaaS, DevOps, or cloud solutions.

·         Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in quota-carrying roles.

·         Deep familiarity with cloud partner programs (AWS, GCP) and experience leveraging them for business growth.

·         Experience selling SaaS combined with managed operations or professional services.

·         Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders.

·         Demonstrated experience building and scaling quota-carrying teams.

·         Excellent cross-functional collaboration, deal orchestration, and operational discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.

·         Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.

·         Competitive base salary of $140,000 - $160,000 (dependent on experience and location).
