This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex cloud environments, supporting enterprise clients across multiple industries. As a Cloud Engineer, you will provide expert-level engineering, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for cloud-based managed services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance standards are met. The position emphasizes proactive problem-solving, continuous improvement, and mentorship, allowing you to influence both client outcomes and internal processes. · Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure and managed services.
· Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
· Design, implement, and maintain cloud environments, leveraging automation tools for deployment and monitoring.
· Participate in security audits and ensure compliance with frameworks such as FedRAMP, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and SOC standards.
· Communicate effectively with clients and act as a trusted advisor on technical matters.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
· Mentor and train team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
· Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks to support internal and client-facing operations.
· 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related technical roles.
· 5+ years hands-on experience with Azure in production environments.
· Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
· Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps practices, and cloud automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps).
· Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including familiarity with ITIL processes.
· Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Relevant Azure certifications, including Azure Architect (AZ305), are highly preferred.
· Ability to work independently, mentor others, and provide support across multiple US time zones.
· Must pass a federal background check for Public Trust Fitness.
