Account Executive - Department of Defense

Corelight builds network-based detection and response solutions derived from open-source projects like Zeek and Suricata to help organizations speed incident response and proactively hunt threats. We are seeking a Federal Sales Account Manager to drive sales into Department of Defense agencies and related entities across North America, building pipeline, managing channel relationships, and growing ARR with federal customers.

Skills

  • Proven federal and DoD sales experience with channel and integrator relationships
  • Track record of above-quota performance in enterprise security sales
  • Strong presentations and consultative selling skills to technical and executive audiences
  • Ability to forecast and manage pipeline in Salesforce
  • Solid technical knowledge of network-security products and packet-based detection

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan to identify and grow opportunities across DoD agencies and contractors
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and close new business
  • Convert Zeek/Bro open-source users to Corelight commercial products
  • Deliver compelling technical and executive presentations to IT security stakeholders
  • Accurately forecast business performance using Salesforce (SF.COM)
  • Sell through and build relationships with channel partners and Federal System Integrators (FSIs)
  • Manage and grow existing customer ARR, drive renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Occasional travel to San Francisco headquarters and customer sites

Education

  • BA/BS technical degree or equivalent
