As a Sales Engineer, you'll partner with Account Executives to guide prospective customers through the technical aspects of the buying journey. You'll uncover customer goals, design tailored solutions using our platform, support managed trials, and ensure technical confidence in the buying process. Your ability to translate complex marketing use cases into compelling, solution-based narratives will be key to winning new business. This fully remote role reports to the Senior Director of Solutions Engineering, and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.
Partner with Account Executives to support mid-market sales opportunities from discovery through close, leading conversations around customer needs and technical scoping
Serve as a product expert on Jasper’s solutions, showing the customer the value of the platform and how it can transform their way of working
Lead compelling value-based demonstrations, both standard and customized
Scope and workshop custom solutions and integration workflows
Proactively forge strong cross-functional partnerships with sales and product to stay informed and improve the selling cycle
Understand, track, and document product feedback and competitive intelligence from customers and advocate for the development internally by documenting and sharing with product management
2-4 years of experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer at a startup, SaaS company (Martech preferred), working closely with the Commercial and Mid Market segment
A foundational understanding of AI and its business application
Excels in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Understanding of sales and revenue organization processes
Passion and experience working with various personas within a marketing organization
A point of view of how GenAI is helping marketers and what’s important to consider when launching a GenAI program
Expertise in presenting to multiple stakeholders from the C-Suite, VPs, Directors, practitioners, marketing operations, IT and Security
Experience working with APIs, building custom POCs, and working with iPaas solutions
Eagerness to travel for customer meetings and marketing events

The expected OTE for this role is $150,000 - $175,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
