- Proven leadership scaling global SA/SE functions for cloud-native platforms and enterprise GTM.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, observability, performance, and cloud architecture patterns.
- Experience designing and running POVs/POCs and building reusable reference architectures and security collateral.
- Metrics-driven operator comfortable with capacity planning, forecasting, and partner with RevOps/Finance.
- Executive presence with ability to influence CxO and senior technical stakeholders.
- Experience with partner programs (hyperscalers/GSIs) and co-sell/co-implement motions.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a diverse, high-performing global SA organization spanning pre-sales and post-sales (SAs and CSAs).
- Define and operationalize global coverage, capacity planning, and headcount aligned to pipeline and install base across AMER/EMEA/APAC.
- Create enterprise-grade reference architectures, security/trust packages, and standardized POV/POC methodology with measurable exit criteria.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Security, RevOps, and Marketing to align GTM strategy, product requirements, and enterprise narratives.
- Act as executive technical sponsor for strategic accounts, lead escalations, and represent Honeycomb at executive briefings and industry events.
- Design enablement programs, certification paths, and an Architecture Guild for knowledge sharing and design standards.
- Own function-level KPIs (enterprise win rate, POV conversion, ACV uplift, TTV, NRR) and operational mechanisms (QBRs, portfolio reviews).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA) is a plus but not required.
- Relevant continual learning/certifications in cloud, security, or architecture preferred.
