Ecosystem Sales Manager

GitLab is an open-core software company offering an AI-powered DevSecOps platform used by more than 100,000 organizations. We are hiring an Ecosystem Sales Manager to recruit, enable, and grow strategic partners (system integrators, solution providers, managed services partners, and hyperscalers) across the US and Canada to drive partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, and expanded GitLab practice adoption.

Skills

  • Proven experience selling developer tools or ALM solutions through strategic partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of partner ecosystems, cloud markets, and hyperscaler partnerships (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Experience with B2B sales motions and managing partner-led opportunities.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and partner/account reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic partner growth plans, including account mapping, GTM strategies, and governance models.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with field sales, AEs, ASMs, geo leadership, and regional partners.
  • Coordinate internal GitLab resources (sales leadership, support, etc.) to meet ecosystem sales objectives and targets.
  • Drive partner-driven demand generation and pipeline-building activities regionally.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual ecosystem planning.
  • Provide regular forecasts, progress reports, presentations, territory plans, and partner performance metrics.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Relevant sales, partner, or cloud certifications are a plus.
