Founding GTM Lead

About the Role


We’re looking for our first GTM hire — someone excited to build from the ground up and play a critical role in shaping how we grow. As our Founding GTM Lead, you’ll work directly with leadership to manage high-impact customer relationships, determine bottoms-up growth plans, close strategic deals, and lay the foundation for a scalable sales function.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building relationships, and brings a builder’s mindset to process and pipeline.

What you'll do

  • Own and manage relationships across the customer and user journey, from individuals to small businesses and enterprise clients

  • Qualify inbound leads and drive them through the funnel

  • Close deals and handle associated contracts and paperwork

  • Design and optimize early sales processes and CRM hygiene

  • Build a strategy for long-term growth, retention, and upsell opportunities

  • Serve as the voice of the customer to the team

Qualifications

  • Experience in a founding or early GTM role at a high-growth startup, ideally within the AI landscape

  • Success in building product-led or hybrid GTM strategies

  • Operationally sharp - you know how to prioritize a pipeline and keep things moving

  • Clear communicator with strong relationship instincts

  • Ability to earn trust with technical teams, founders, and enterprise buyers

  • Experience building playbooks and processes from scratch
