The Associate Talent Acquisition Partner is primarily responsible for talent acquisition activities that serve high volume functional areas with an emphasis on store recruitment. The focus is on proactive and timely execution of recruiting processes that reflect best practices along with candidate generation and hiring. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line’s core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following main duties:
Primarily supporting JD Finish Line & Finish Line Macy’s stores, executes some or all duties of the full life cycle recruitment process, consisting of the following: Reviews applications, conducts/schedules phone screens and interviews, refers candidates for additional interviews and performs reference checks.
Partnering with store leadership, assists with job postings, coordinating hiring events, and educating store teams on how to best attract and assess talent.
Presents both virtual and in-person training on recruitment and talent attraction best practices.
Performs detail and administrative work needed to maintain the integrity of the ATS and facilitate the candidate’s hiring process.
Responsible for administrative tasks relating to interview scheduling, pre-boarding and employee on-boarding processes.
Manages JD Finish Line relocation programs, primarily through administrative support.
Ensures that the recruiting process is carried out consistently with the highest quality, integrity, and professionalism.
With a focus on results, facilitates candidate and hiring manager expectations during the entire recruitment, selection, and hiring process, ensuring that the JD Finish Line brand remains positive in the eyes of candidates, internal customers, and the community.
Assists in proactively utilizing the Internet and other technologies for data mining and innovative recruitment approaches, including talent pipelining. Will primarily use job board advertising, job fairs, interviews, teleconferencing, LinkedIn, the application tracking system (ATS) and networking with professional organizations and associations to increase the pool of qualified applicants.
May assist with high volume recruitment activities for the Distribution Center, especially in peak volume times.
May assist with full life cycle recruiting of corporate requisitions, typically at the entry level.
Assists team in the college recruiting efforts and Internship activities (schedule campus events, organize and execute internal intern events) that serve as both networking and professional development opportunities for the interns.
Occasional travel may be required to support store staffing needs.

Required Education and/or Experience
In-store retail experience, especially with JD Finish Line or Finish Line Macy’s stores is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred. While no formal experience is required, experience in recruitment or with general HR administrative/coordinator duties is a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have intermediate to advanced knowledge and abilities with Google Suite applications or Microsoft Word and Excel.
