Account Executive, Mid-Market - Figma Weave (New York, United States)

Figma is a collaborative design platform building AI-native tools that help teams create, prototype, and translate designs into production. The Account Executive, Mid-Market will drive revenue growth by targeting and expanding relationships within mid-market customers (approx. 500–5,000 employees), using value-selling and strategic account planning to land and expand Figma’s suite of products.

Skills

  • Proven track record closing software/SaaS deals to mid-market customers and executives
  • Consistent pipeline generation and prospecting skills for net new business
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles (3–9 months) and multi-threaded opportunities
  • Strong value-selling and discovery methodology
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and gain sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage a pipeline of mid-market accounts from inbound and outbound activity to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Use discovery and value-selling techniques to build relationships with key decision-makers and secure executive sponsorship
  • Develop account plans and conduct analysis to identify expansion opportunities and long-term fit with Figma’s roadmap
  • Manage complex sales cycles (typically 3–9 months) and multi-thread engagements at senior levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Customer Success, Product, Solutions) to position solutions and drive deals forward
  • Tier and manage a book of business, implementing retention and expansion techniques
  • Pursue in-person executive relationships and networking opportunities to advance accounts

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing sales training and certifications
