Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Retailers

Faire is an online wholesale marketplace that connects independent retailers with brands using data and machine learning. The Senior Account Executive, Enterprise Retailers will join an early enterprise sales motion to acquire and onboard large, multi-location retailers, solve complex operational challenges, and surface product feedback to shape Faire’s roadmap.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise B2B sales experience with consultative, relationship-driven approach
  • Experience selling into retail decision makers (buyers, merchandisers, category managers)
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline development skills across email, phone, and virtual channels
  • Ability to translate customer needs into product/operational solutions and articulate ROI
  • Comfort using data to identify insights and measure performance (KPIs, conversion metrics)

Responsibilities

  • Own full sales cycle for enterprise retailers (typically 10+ locations, ~$25M+ revenue): prospecting, outreach, pitching, onboarding, and order creation.
  • Convert target retailers via email, phone, video, and high-ROI in-person meetings, building trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Diagnose retailer needs and match Faire value propositions and offerings to demonstrate measurable value.
  • Create custom merchandising and buying recommendations to help retailers discover and order the right brands and products.
  • Synthesize and communicate customer feedback to product, engineering, and operations to influence roadmap and remove blockers.
  • Design, test, and scale sales strategies, processes, and tactics for the upmarket retailer segment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (support, product, design, marketing) to ensure enterprise retailer success.
  • Act with urgency, resourcefulness, and ownership to grow Faire's presence with larger retail accounts.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant coursework or training in business, sales, or retail is a plus
  • Formal sales training or certifications are helpful but not required
