Groups Sales Manager

Engine is a fast-growing travel and fintech platform modernizing corporate travel, combining travel booking, a charge card, and spend management. We seek an experienced, results-driven Inbound Group Sales Manager to convert high-volume inbound leads into group bookings, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional client advocacy in a collaborative, high-growth environment.

Skills

  • Proven B2B/B2C sales experience with inbound selling and consultative approach
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills for tailored proposals
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar) for pipeline and forecasting
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple leads and opportunities
  • Analytical ability to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and client advocacy
  • Comfort with occasional travel (up to 5%)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage high-volume inbound inquiries for group bookings with timely, personalized follow-ups
  • Qualify inbound leads, assess requirements, and recommend tailored group solutions
  • Close group booking opportunities and achieve/exceed sales KPIs and revenue targets
  • Develop and present customized proposals and presentations to prospective clients
  • Maintain and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Manage pipeline and forecasting using CRM tools; ensure accurate follow-up and status tracking
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, marketing, contracting, and project management for seamless execution
  • Monitor market and competitor trends to inform sales strategy and positioning

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience accepted in lieu of degree
