We’re supercharging the clean economy.
Crux is the capital markets platform changing the way clean energy and manufacturing projects are financed in the U.S. Crux’s platform, market intelligence, and expert team help developers and manufacturers unlock financing through all stages of project development and operation.
Our team of 65+ is composed of experts in energy, tax, finance, government, and technology. We have raised $77 million in capital from some of the best investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, New System Ventures, Overture, Ardent Venture Partners, QED, Canapi, and others. These funds are joined by strategic investors including Pattern Energy, Clearway Energy, EDF Renewables, Intersect Power, LS Power, Ørsted, Hartree Partners, Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, and OMERS Ventures.
An inflection point in American energy and manufacturing
Energy demand is growing for the first time in 20 years, driven by surging manufacturing, electrification, and data centers. Simultaneously, hundreds of billions of dollars are being invested in domestic supply chains for critical minerals and components. Developers and manufacturers will require trillions of dollars in capital to meet growing needs.
Before Crux, the capital markets supporting this transformation were opaque and fragmented. We’re building the connective tissue — a central platform designed for the next century of American energy and industry. By connecting counterparties, providing market intelligence, and streamlining transactions, we unlock faster decision-making, lower cost of capital, and accelerated investment.
The Role
We’re hiring a GTM Operations teammate — a business-savvy, technically fluent operator who thrives at the intersection of systems, data, and growth.
This is a hands-on role responsible for architecting and scaling the internal systems and automations that power our go-to-market engine. You’ll work across RevOps, BizOps, and Marketing Operations to design low-code workflows, implement AI-driven processes, and ensure our GTM infrastructure runs as intelligently and efficiently as our business strategy.
You’re not a full-stack engineer — but you love building. You understand how to connect APIs, structure data pipelines, and use low-code/no-code tools to automate complexity. You translate business needs into scalable systems that improve conversion, attribution, and decision-making.
This role sits within our Operations team and collaborates closely with Product, Data, and Engineering. You’ll be the connective tissue across systems, ensuring our commercial teams operate with speed, visibility, and precision.
What You’ll Do
Design scalable GTM systems: Own and evolve the architecture connecting CRM, marketing, and revenue systems (HubSpot, InCycle, Omni, etc.)
Build low-code automations: Leverage Zapier, Make, n8n, or custom scripts to eliminate manual work and orchestrate cross-platform workflows
Operationalize AI: Implement AI/ML-driven tools for lead scoring, content personalization, forecasting, and process automation
Integrate data pipelines: Ensure clean, unified data across marketing, sales, and finance systems to support analytics and strategic decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Growth, Operations, and Engineering to align systems design with business objectives
Continuously optimize: Identify process bottlenecks and design smarter workflows that save time, improve accuracy, and drive revenue outcomes
Who You Are
Business-Minded Technologist: You combine technical literacy (APIs, databases, automation tools) with business acumen — understanding how systems design influences growth, efficiency, and revenue.
Low-Code Builder: You love building systems without over-engineering — using tools like Zapier, Retool, or Airtable to create quick, elegant solutions that scale.
AI Practitioner: You’ve deployed or customized AI tools for business process automation, data enrichment, or predictive analytics.
Systems Thinker: You see how workflows, data models, and automation connect across teams — and can map processes from first principles.
Analytical Operator: You make decisions grounded in data and build infrastructure that turns insight into action.
Startup-Ready: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, operate autonomously, and take ownership from scoping through execution.
Why This Role Matters
This is a high-leverage position: you’ll directly impact Crux’s commercial scalability and efficiency. By building intelligent, automated systems that underpin our go-to-market strategy, you’ll help accelerate clean energy financing and drive the next wave of U.S. industrial growth.
What we bring

Fully covered Employee Healthcare benefits, including partial dependent coverage.
Fully remote role with quarterly onsite meetings.
$77mm dollars raised, a phenomenal team, and mission driven work.
Our Values
Care for each other: We want to work on a team where people support each other - in their growth, in their work, and towards our shared mission. When we do that, we have fun.
Build and improve rapidly: The thing we can best control is our pace of learning and pace of execution. We can’t control the market, regulators, or what competitors do. One of the best ways to move rapidly is to focus, and consistently ask ourselves if we are prioritizing the right things and executing them as best as possible.
Focus unremittingly on customers: Developers, manufacturers & their advisors are doing critical work to accelerate renewable energy development. Our obligation is to them first, and we must keep their needs front & center in everything we do.
Demonstrate ownership: We are all owners of Crux. This is our team, our company, our product and we show that to each other.
Convene a team that reflects the breadth of experiences in the country: We expect everyone to actively help us build a team where people of all backgrounds can thrive. This applies in hiring, people policies, how we interact - and connects closely with caring for each other.
We provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by law.
If an employer mentions a salary or salary range on their job, we display it as an "Employer Estimate". If a job has no salary data, Rise displays an estimate if available.
