Our client represents a private equity-backed organization experiencing expansion within the hospitality and property management industry. Currently operating 7 locations with plans to scale to 20-30 facilities over the next two years, they require a strategic operations executive to optimize performance across their growing regional portfolio.

This presents an outstanding opportunity for an analytically-focused, financially-astute operations professional to standardize processes, establish industry best practices, and create measurable impact on bottom-line results across multiple properties. The successful candidate will enjoy significant operational autonomy while managing a focused portfolio within a rapidly expanding enterprise offering substantial advancement opportunities.

Position Overview In the capacity of Operations Manager, you will deliver strategic oversight and operational excellence across 4-6 properties within your assigned territory. Your scope includes managing approximately 20 team members (with each site maintaining a manager plus 4-5 support staff) while driving NOI maximization, operational consistency, and high-performance team development.

Core Accountabilities:

  • Oversee maintenance protocols, safety compliance measures, and comprehensive risk management frameworks
  • Lead, train, and develop facility managers and support staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely operational reporting to senior leadership
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and community engagement
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess operations, staff performance, and property conditions
  • Drive financial performance by managing budgets, monitoring revenue/expenses, and maximizing profitability at each facility
  • Identify and execute profit-improvement initiatives
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across all locations

Essential Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel quarterly (approximately 10 days) to oversee regional facilities
  • Track record of implementing SOPs, risk management practices, and compliance standards
  • Experience with operational reporting, data analysis, and budget management
  • Data-driven mindset with strong focus on financial metrics, NOI optimization, and profitability
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Coral Gables, FL area
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop managers and teams across multiple locations
  • Basic accounting skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Senior multi-site operations experience in hotels, multi-family/commercial property management, restaurants, or similar hospitality/service environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in scaling operations or turnaround situations
  • Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed environments
  • Background in regional/district management roles within hotels, multi-family property operations, or restaurant groups
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days per week, 1 day remote, based in Coral Gables, FL office
  • Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary
  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
