Senior Named Account Executive, SLED
Skills
- Minimum 3 years selling technical solutions to the Public Sector (SLED, federal, municipalities)
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and contract negotiations
- Basic understanding of computer networking and how the internet works
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts; technical background (engineering, CS, MIS) is a plus
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience engaging both technical and non-technical buyers; familiarity with SLED procurement preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans to achieve revenue targets
- Manage full sales cycle and contract negotiations for public sector accounts
- Maintain and grow a robust, qualified sales pipeline
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key public sector stakeholders
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions for Cloudflare services
- Collaborate with Channel Account Managers, Solution Engineers, BDRs, Customer Success, and Sales Operations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, MIS) preferred but not required
