The Senior Data Analyst will report directly to the HHS-PASSPort Payment Services Executive Director and is responsible, with considerable latitude for independent action or decision, for reviewing and reconciling all documentation submitted to ensure they meet Agency, State, and Federal regulations and meet citywide directives and Procurement Policy Board rules requiring timely processing of invoices.

The Senior Data Analyst will perform enhanced payment reviews and track analytic and specialized administrative work within the Unit in order to review and process payments. In collaboration with the unit Director, the Senior Data Analyst makes recommendations on the unit's procedures and practices, recommendations for improvements, evaluates and monitors tracking systems used for internal controls to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, and prepares monthly analytic reports as well as ad hoc data requests requested by supervisory/managerial staff by researching materials and composing responses in order to provide requested information.
