The Office of the City Administrator’s (CAO) Human Resources (HR) division is hiring an innovative, forward-thinking, and solution-oriented Division Director of Recruitment and Operations. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Division Director of Recruitment and Operations will provide strategic and day-to-day oversight over major HR service areas including talent acquisition (examinations, hiring, operations) and payroll services.

The Division Director of Recruitment and Operations will perform the following:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. AND
Experience: Five (5) years of verifiable professional level experience in the following areas of: recruitment and selection, employment life cycle management, workforce planning, HR consulting, or HRIS/people analytics of which three (3) years must include supervising professionals.
SUBSTITUTION:
Education Substitution: Additional qualifying experience as described above may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis (up to a maximum of two (2) years). One year (2000 hours) of qualifying experience will be considered equivalent to 30 semester units/45 quarter units.
Experience Substitution: A Master's Degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Management, Business Information Systems, Juris Doctor (J.D.), or closely related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional non-supervisory experience. (Note: the advanced degree cannot substitute for the supervisory experience)

Compensation information: $80.4500 - $102.6500 (hourly)/ $167,336 to $213,512 (annually)
