As a member of the International Talent Expansion team, you will work with senior leaders across the company to expand our presence in both new and existing international locations as part of our talent strategy.
General Responsibilities:

As the Director of International Workforce Planning, you will be a strategic leader responsible for defining and executing our global workforce strategy. You will lead a high-performing team of Workforce Planning Leads, partnering closely with our Technology and Product organizations to develop robust annual and long-term demand and supply plans that ensure we meet our ambitious growth objectives.
This role requires a blend of strategic vision, analytical rigor, and exceptional leadership. You will leverage data and insights to forecast talent needs, identify skill gaps, and develop proactive solutions to optimize our international workforce. You will also drive the implementation of advanced workforce planning methodologies and technologies to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Workforce Planning Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive annual and long-term international workforce plans, aligning with Capital One's Technology and Product strategies.
People Leadership: Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise. You will foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver results
Demand & Supply Forecasting: Partner with Technology and Product leadership to accurately forecast future talent demand, considering factors such as product roadmaps, market trends, and organizational growth. Analyze internal and external talent supply to identify potential gaps and opportunities.
Data & Analytics: Utilize advanced analytics and workforce modeling to provide actionable insights into workforce trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and report on key workforce metrics to inform senior leadership.
Process Optimization: Drive the continuous improvement of workforce planning processes, tools, and systems, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with senior leaders across Technology, Product, HR, and Finance to ensure integrated planning and effective execution of workforce strategies.
Change Management: Lead change initiatives related to workforce planning, ensuring successful adoption of new strategies and processes across diverse international teams.
Clear results orientation: Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. You will drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
At least 7 years of experience in analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
2+ years of experience in financial services
1+ year of experience in consulting
3+ years of experience in people management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900 for Business Director
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
