Staff, Program Manager, Finance Transformation

Braze is a customer engagement platform seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead finance transformation initiatives across quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay and record-to-report. The role owns the finance transformation roadmap, drives cross-functional technical projects (including NetSuite integrations), ensures SOX compliance, and delivers measurable ROI through scalable systems and strong stakeholder partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Finance Transformation roadmap, prioritizing high-ROI initiatives across quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay and record-to-report
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure using Jira and Atlassian tools
  • Coordinate technical requirements with developers, architects, system engineers and business analysts
  • Align technical roadmaps and resolve cross-system dependencies to ensure scalability and system integrity
  • Define KPIs and measure impact to quantify initiative effectiveness and demonstrate ROI
  • Provide regular updates and risk reporting to senior leadership; proactively mitigate blockers
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, GTM, Product, IT and People to align initiatives with organizational goals
  • Promote and implement project management best practices and emerging technology recommendations
  • Ensure SOX compliance and support IT general controls and post-production support/hypercare

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems or related field (preferred)
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or equivalent experience a plus
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, Scrum, or CPA) are beneficial but not required
