Responsibilities

Job Purpose 

 

The Development Associate will lend support to advancing development of Pattern’s North American renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Planning and attending meetings with a variety of project stakeholders; coordinating development activities with functional groups – finance, environmental, technical, etc.;
  • Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules; managing project vendors;
  • Assistance with acquiring wind and solar land rights;
  • Assistance with project permitting activities;
  • Preparing presentations and other project-related materials;
  • Provide project team support to power marketing activities; analysis of new project development opportunities;
  • Assistance with economic analysis to support project and corporate decision-making.

Qualifications

Experience/Qualifications/Education Required

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record and keen interest in renewable energy development.
  • 2-5 years of experience in renewable energy development desired.

Required Work Experience

  • Excellent communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Power Point, Word and Excel.
